Clean caravans and helpful staff, but lacking in atmosphere like others that I've visited. Also bar and restaurant is quite pricey. Good play area for kids.

Absolutely great! It is the true definition of a traditional British caravan holiday. You won't want to leave. It has quick access to the beach (bear in mind, it is not easy to get down and not pushchair or wheel chair friendly as you can easily slip, and keep hold of young children) on site there is a restaurant, small swimming baths, arcade fish and chips shop, a small convenient shop, outside playground and also and entertainment hall where they do shows at night in the holidays.

Boring, expensive on site shop, grotty fish and chips and bar food was always out of something on the menu for the whole duration of my stay. Stopped serving in the bar one night at 9pm. The caravan was devoid of any decoration to make it more homely although it was clean.

Really friendly staff, great family entertainment and kids activities. My daughter was poorly 2 nights in a row, I asked reception for clean bedding and they were great about, no charge and very understanding. Its quite expensive for food and drinks and if I ever go again I will be setting my kids a spending limit in the arcade! All in all we've had a fantastic time and made fantastic memories so would highly recommend. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the shower in the caravan, it was more of a drizzle than a shower, same thing in swimming pool showers. Although I think it must be really hard to provide that much water to so many caravans.

This site is out of town, so you will need transport or bus. Large caravans, plenty of space. Beach within walking distance. Access quite steep. If you have prams use the path nearest the roundabout(through the underpass turn left, then right by other caravan park) Outdoor play park, basket ball court. Indoor pool, amusements. Restaurant. Entertainment, bar.Only word of warning, choose your caravan location carefully. We were on the access road for the maintenance yard. To say it was noisy was an understatement. They were not bothered you were on holiday and might want a lie in. They start early, probably by 7am.
