Has been revamped since my last visit Decent beer great place to watch sports Met some holiday couples down from Teesside.. Really enjoyable afternoon... Definitely recommend the experience...
We went here years ago and decided to pop in as we were passing. . It has had an excellent refurb. Staff so friendly and welcoming . Great relaxed atmosphere. Staff come to your table and take your drink order which was a lovely touch .
I visited the Dickens Bar and Inn because my parents had travelled from London to Scarborough as we were going to see a show at the Spa. The staff were very friendly and helpful and my parents said that the room they had was very clean with all you need for a short stay. I need to take a lot of medication and instead of carrying them around with me i sort out what i need before leaving the house and put the tablets in a small zip lock bag. As you can imagine this does cause a small problem when in public but I explained to the staff what the tablets were for just in case they thought i was taking illegal drugs and they were more than happy to let me take them. Overall a great bar well worth going back to

We had a very comfortable stay in the second floor twin room, which was good value at 80. It was clean and the shower was excellent. Breakfast, which is served in the first floor restaurant between 0830 & 0930, was a full English and very well cooked. We had a lovely bay window view of the sea and the nearby Grand Hotel. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Definitely worth another visit.
