My friend - who stays regularly in Scarborough - took me to the park on Wednesday as we've spent a lovely few days up there. It's a beautifully kept , clean & well maintained park. There were many squirrels including a very inquisitive one who walked straight up to me ! Wish I'd taken a photo . The toilets were very clean . I was very interested in the Willow Pattern story as my Mum had many pieces but sadly I don't know where they ended up . Thank you to the council for looking after this lovely park. Sue x
Very quiet and peaceful in the winter sunshine. Lots of geese and gulls. Signs of new shoots on many of the lovely shrubs and trees
Wonderful all year round. Park up near the Glen Bridge check out the victorian cemetery and walk down the paths and into the park. The summer naval battles are still a blinder for kids. Watch out for the planes!!!
Lovely place to visit. Plenty of paths to walk through and there is also a large lake and waterfall. Would certainty recommend it for a visit and only 2 minute walk to the beach.
A lovely park that is well maintained. Beautiful scenery and a really nice place to see a variety of local wildlife. The only thing that is a downside is the toilets could be upgraded but this overall has no impact on the rest of the park.
