Four of us sat down during busy lunchtime rush and ordered hot food. Told a 30 minute wait but asking after 40 minutes it was only just being cooked. Worse it was clearly forgotten as other orders had gone out. No apology given. To top it all off, there was a dog sat at one table eating off a plate!

Lovely breakfast and the price is amazing for the quality of the food! The eggs were cooked to absolute perfection, runny but no jelly! The sausages were nice and the bacon was lean and tasty! The coffee was absolutely huge in a tall mug. Staff were very nice and the chef cooks in an open kitchen which is good as you can see your food being prepared! An excellent traditional Cafe.
Just near the cricket ground, very handy! Some outside seating is available. It's got a 5 star hygiene rating and a varied menu. The prices are reasonable. The food is cooked fresh to order, so if busy you may have to wait, but worth it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They let us sit inside with our dogs, as it wasn't busy and it was raining. The tables were clean and so were the chairs and floor area. The ladies were clean although the decor is a bit tired throughout the place. On the whole I'd certainly visit again.
